New production to be located at the site of Industrial Park “Chistopol”

The investment project of the industrial complex for the production of wall enclosing panels and panels for interior walls was discussed today at the meeting by President of the Republic of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov and President of group of companies “METTEM” Viktor Saprykin. The meeting was also attended by Deputy Minister of Construction, Architecture and Housing of the Republic of Tatarstan F.M.Khanifov.

The meeting was held in the Government House of the Republic of Tatarstan.

Company “METTEM” has been on the market for about 24 years; today the group of companies includes more than a dozen innovative companies (for details - www.mettem.org).

The investment project of the industrial complex for the production of panels is to be implemented at the site of Industrial Park “Chistopol”, where all the conditions for placing small and medium-sized enterprises of the real sector of the economy were provided.

The Investment in the project will amount to approximately 273 million rubles. The production will be located within the area of ​​3 hectares; the production of wall panels will amount to 150 thousand square meters per year, and the payback period will be 3.5 years. The products can be used in housing construction, facade building envelopes construction, reconstruction and renovation of buildings, etc. It is expected that the company can bring its products to the construction market of Tatarstan in spring 2014.

During the meeting held by Rustam Minnikhanov the participants briefly reported on the work of company “METTEM” on the Russian construction market, and its implemented projects.

Director General of “METTEM - Light Steel Structures" LLC Dionis Smirnov told more about the technologies used by the company when producing wall panels, about the insulation used, about the loads carried by the products, and other ways of the use of the panels in civil engineering and construction of social facilities.

Rustam Minnikhanov noted that the Republic is interested in the project implementation. According to him, the construction material such as wall panels can be used in the construction of sports facilities, rural clubs, village first-aid stations and other facilities.

Rustam Minnikhanov also ordered the specialized organizations to study more carefully the products of “METTEM - Light Steel Structures” LLC, and to visit the facilities where these wall panels had already been used.
