A new House of Culture to be opened in village Khornovar-Shigali in Drozhzhanovsky area

As part of the Republic’s program “Construction of rural Houses of Culture in the areas of the Republic of Tatarstan for 2012-2014” the construction of a House of Culture in village Khornovar-Shigali in Drozhzhanovsky municipal area was included in the list of the facilities to be built in 2013.

One cannot help noticing how the appearance of the village is changing. The main street near a secondary school, which this year is also being renovated, now has a sidewalk and a well-maintained road.

The House of Culture was built rapidly. In the spring of this year, organization “Stroiservis” started working and completed the work by August. The construction of the road leading to the building is being carried out.

The population of village Khornovar-Shigali needs a new building for the House of Culture. The foundation of the former House of Culture was laid in 1902, and today it does not meet the technical and aesthetic requirements.

- We are very excited about the new building. Now we have a place to hold celebrations and social events. After all, to preserve our way of life and culture the conditions are necessary”, said Director of the House of Culture Arkady Yeremeyev.
