1.4 million square meters of housing commissioned in Tatarstan

Since the beginning of the year 1 million 421.9 thousand square meters of housing have been commissioned in Tatarstan, which is equal to nearly 60 percent of the annual plan and 102.5 percent compared to last year. Such data was announced by Minister of Construction, Architecture and Housing of the Republic of Tatarstan Irek Faizullin at the weekly Republic’s meeting held in the Government House of the Republic of Tatarstan. The meeting was chaired by President of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov and attended by Prime Minister Ildar Khalikov.

According to Irek Faizullin, 7 municipalities completed the annual plan for new housing (Agryzsky, Apastovsky, Laishevsky, Nurlatsky, Pestrechinsky, Sarmanovsky, Tukayevsky areas). In 10 municipalities the annual task has been executed by more than 80 percent. In three municipalities thereof (Aksubayevsky, Verkhneuslonsky, Zainsky areas) the implementation of the annual plan is more than 90 percent.

According to the social mortgage program among 133 houses 65houses with the total area of ​​210.1 thousand square meters for 3 thousand 689 apartments, equal to 54.8 percent of the plan, have been put into operation. The construction of 89 houses for 347 veterans of the Great Patriotic War is being continued, and 63 objects have a high degree of readiness.  

Among 69 apartment investment 49 houses have a high degree of readiness; 6 houses have an average degree of readiness and 14 houses have a low degree of readiness. As for low-rise housing construction, including individual housing construction, among 1407 objects 662 have a high degree of readiness, 413 objects have an average degree of readiness and 532 houses have a low degree of readiness. Irek Faizullin also said that the Republic plans to build 82 houses for local police officers in 39 municipalities.

As for program “Rural clubs”, 4 facilities have been put into operation; 10 objects are ready for more than 90 percent; finishing work and landscaping are being carried out at 22 objects.

The participants also raised the question regarding the implementation of the program on major repairs of educational institutions. By the order of the President of Tatarstan the major repairs of schools had to be completed by August 20th, 2013, but of 167 objects only 20 of them were completed. Among the lagging ones there were Aznakayevsky, Almetyevsky, Tetyushsky areas and Kazan. Rustam Minnikhanov instructed to complete all the work in educational institutions in time for all children to come to school and start studying on September 1st, 2013.

The Minister also said that 12 thousand 462 apartment houses with central heating systems are to be prepared or the upcoming heating season.

As of today, among 3 thousand 646 social facilities 3 thousand 458 thereof are ready for the heating season (95 percent). As for health care facilities, among 1,618 objects 1583 thereof are ready for the heating season (98 percent).
