New first-aid stations opened in Drozhzhanovsky area

28 August 2013, Wednesday

The Republic’s program on the construction and improvement of health care facilities launched last year has been implemented in our area: two new first-aid stations were put into operation in 2012. Such facilities were opened today in villages Mataki and Nizhny Chekursk.

The opening ceremony of the new facilities was attended by Deputy Minister of Health of the Republic of Tatarstan Rinat Zalaldinov, and Head of Drozhzhanovsky area Aleksandr Shadrikov. Arrival of Deputy Minister began by visiting a local hospital in village Staroye Shaymurzino being renovated. Rinat Zalaltdinov highlighted shortcomings and asked to speed up the repairs.

These events have been long-awaited and joyful for residents of the villages. After all, the old buildings of the first-aid stations are more than half a century year old.

For example, in village Mataki, it was built in 1967 and since then it has not been repaired.  815 people live in the village including senior citizens who need constant medical care.

The building of the first-aid station in village Nizhny Chekursk is also old, and for the last four years it was located in a former kindergarten. Medical service is provided to 559 people including 121 pensioners. It is encouraging to see that young specialist Alisa Ogurtsova came to the village to work. She was born here, left school and studied at Buinskoye medical school. She received a diploma and without hesitation decided to dedicate her work to her fellow villagers.

“I hope that these facilities will help improve the quality of medical services to the villagers. Let your first-aid station serve for a long time, I wish you good health and let the villagers come here only for preventive treatment”, said Deputy Minister Rinat Zalaldinov. He also said that every year as part of the Republic’s program to improve primary health care, 2 new first-aid stations are to be built in the area.

The joy of the villagers was also shared by Head of the area Aleksandr Shadrikov who wished his sincere wishes.

The symbolic ribbon being cut the guests visited the modular first-aid stations with all conditions and new equipment present.
