Today, all the schools to be repaired under the program on major repairs in the Republic of Tatarstan, opened, as said by Ildar Khalikov

All the schools to be repaired under the program on major repairs are being opened in Tatarstan. This was announced by Prime Minister Ildar Khalikov at the meeting with reporters.

The program has been implemented in the Republic for two years: 173 schools were repaired last year and 160 schools have been repaired this year.

“It was a problem being discussed by heads of municipalities and school principals. We will continue to implement this program despite the fact that it is quite expensive”, said the Head of the Government of the Republic of Tatarstan.

By the way, according to Ildar Khalikov, this year 2.5 billion rubles were allocated for the major repairs of schools. Also, as said by Ildar Khalikov, great help in the repair of schools this year was rendered by their graduates: such support was received by more than 200 schools in the Republic.

“The call of President of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov was supported, and I am sure that next year's graduates will help their schools”, he stressed.

Another area which will provide the children of Tatarstan with educational process is the work of school buses. This year the children will be taken to school by nearly 600 buses. Thanks to special system GLONASS, no accident involving school children happened last school year.

“This year, the schools of the Republic will be provided with 103 buses with GLONASS system”, said the Prime Minister of Tatarstan.
