In the village of Malye Kokuzi, Apastovsky district, reconstruction of water supply networks was carried out under the federal program "Modernization of communal infrastructure" of the national project "Infrastructure for Life".

During the work on the 6.3 km section along Pushkin and Lenin Streets, metal pipes were replaced with wear-resistant polyethylene pipes with a diameter of 110 mm, 73 wells and 10 fire hydrants were installed. The amount of financing amounted to 62.182 million rubles.

This facility is included in the program of the national project "Infrastructure for Life" due to the signing in September of an additional agreement between the Ministry of Construction of the Russian Federation and the Government of Tatarstan on the allocation of 519.6 million rubles from the federal budget to the republic for the modernization of municipal infrastructure.

The water supply network in Maly Kokuzy was built in 1985. Over the long period of operation, the wear of the system exceeded 70%, the metal pipes were clogged with rust, there was not enough water pressure, and emergencies often occurred here, especially in areas along Lenin Street. Now, as a result of the project, 198 villagers are provided with uninterrupted quality water.

It should be recalled that 44 facilities worth 4.147 billion rubles are being upgraded this year as part of the national Infrastructure for Life project. This list also includes 8 new facilities in Almetyevsk, Apastovsky, Baltasinsky, Vysokogorsky, Zelenodolsk, Rybnoslobodsky and two in Alekseevsky districts under an additional agreement.
