This was stated by Russian Deputy Prime Minister Vitaly Mutko, talking to reporters in Kazan. “The housing sector of Tatarstan demonstrates a very good pace of construction. “Of course, our task is to build complex microdistricts where a suitable environment is equipped - a school, a kindergarten, a landscaped courtyard. This is necessary to get away from the concept of the dormitory areas. So that it is an area where you can live and find opportunities for every family: for the elderly, for families with children. In the microdistrict that we visited, all this is provided for,” - said Vitaliy Mutko. The issue that rental housing is underestimated here and we are not building it enough is a fact. We conducted a public opinion poll: 7 million people are ready if the mortgage will fall to a certain level, to take housing for rent,” - Mutko said. And he added: “Rental housing should find implementation in the project (the national project“ Housing and the urban environment ”- editorial comment), as well as housing purchased in the property.” The social rental housing is needed by young families, social workers, police officers, the Deputy Prime Minister of the country is sure. The implementation of the national housing project will be discussed today in the Kazan Kremlin with the participation of Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov. “By the way, we will talk about this topic (rental housing - editorial comment) today. Last year we built only one rental house throughout the country. This is clearly not enough,” - Mutko concluded.
