Today the President of the Republic of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov met Secretary General of International University Sports Federation Eric Saintrond in Kazan city. The meeting was held in the Government House of the Republic of Tatarstan. Mayor of Kazan city Ilsur Metshin, Minister of Youth Affairs, Sports and Tourism of the Republic of Tatarstan Rafis Burganov, Minister of Construction, Architecture and Housing of the Republic of Tatarstan Irek Faizullin, Head of the Universiade 2013 Executive Committee Vladimir Leonov, First Vice-President of FISU – President of Russian University Sports Union Oleg Matytsin and Director of Summer Universiades Mark Vandenplas participated in the meeting.
A meeting on the implementation of the program of health care modernization took place today in the Ministry of Construction, Architecture and Housing of the Republic of Tatarstan. The meeting was held by Deputy Minister of Construction, Architecture and Housing. Representatives of the Ministry of Health and design organizations participated in the meeting. The center of the participants’ attention was the issue concerning optimum distribution of money when implementing the main points of the program of the modernization.
As of August 16th, 2012 major repairs were carried out for a total amount of 4 billion 155 million rubles equal to 95 percent of the annual limit. This was announced today during the Republican meeting in the Government House of the Republic of Tatarstan chaired by Prime Minister of the Republic of Tatarstan Ildar Khalikov.
Minister of Construction, Architecture and Housing of the Republic of Tatarstan Irek Faizullin reported that Aktanyshsky, Almetyevsky, Apastovsky, Arsky, Drozhzhanovsky, Mamadyshsky, Nurlatsky, Pestrechinsky, Spassky and Tyulyachinsky municipal areas had fully used the funds allocated thereto.
Major repairs in 639 houses were completed. Acceptance certificates for 157 houses in 25 municipal areas were signed by the State Housing Inspection.
A videoconference meeting with municipal areas on the implementation of state programs supervised by the Ministry was held today in the Ministry of Construction, Architecture and Housing of the Republic of Tatarstan. The meeting was held by Deputy Minister of Construction, Architecture and Housing of the Republic of Tatarstan R.K.Karimov. Experts of the Ministry and representatives of municipal units of the Republic participated in the meeting.
Within the framework of a long-term target program on legal education of the population and rendering legal assistance to the people of the Republic of Tatarstan for 2011-2013 within the territory of Mamadyshsky municipal area in Urmancheyevsky and Nizhnesunsky rural settlements there was held a regular off-site reception of the informing and consulting group of experts on rendering free legal assistance to inhabitants of rural settlements. During the reception the members of the informing and consulting group including experts from 11 ministries and departments rendered legal assistance to 63 inhabitants of the area. The lawyers of the Ministry of Construction, Architecture and Housing of the Republic of Tatarstan participated in the event.
Today a meeting on the issue of the implementation of a long-term target program of the Republic of Tatarstan “Available environment” for 2011-2012” took place in the Ministry of Construction, Architecture and Housing of the Republic of Tatarstan. The meeting was held by Deputy Minister of Construction, Architecture and Housing of the Republic of Tatarstan A.M.Frolov. Representatives of branch ministries and design organizations participated in the meeting.
First Deputy Minister of Construction, Architecture and Housing of the Republic of Tatarstan Farit Khanifov, member of the State Council of the Republic of Tatarstan Aleksandr Yevdokimov, director of the Republican center of student’s labor teams Rinat Sadykov, and director of the Department to work with non-profit organizations of the Executive Committee “Kazan 2013” Farid Galiullin participated in the event.
Among the award recipients there are representatives of such cities as Perm, Chelyabinsk, Nizhny Novgorod, Volgograd, Magnitogorsk, and others, as well as members of student’s teams from all over the Republic of Tatarstan - altogether about 100 people.
Today a regular Republican videoconference meeting on issues of construction and commissioning of housing, provision of housing for veterans of the Second World War, implementation of the Republican target program on citizens movement from failing housing stock was held in the House of Government by the President of the Republic of Tatarstan R.N. Minnikhanov. First Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Tatarstan R.F. Muratov participated in the meeting. A keynote report was made by Minister of Construction, Architecture and Housing of the Republic of Tatarstan I.E. Faizullin. As of August 10th, 2012, 1 million 312 thousand square meters of housing (53% of the annual amount) was commissioned in the Republic. The Minister said that by the end of the year it was essential to build and put into operation another 1 million 168 thousand square meters of housing.

On these days pride overwhelms all who are involved in the industry. Most of positive changes that are taking place in Tatarstan are directly related to the builders. Houses are being built, only last year more than 29.000 families moved in new apartments, and the plans for this year exceed those of the last year. New modern complexes of social and cultural significance are being constructed, cities and rural settlements are being improved, and new roads are being constructed. Today builders are involved in a large-scale program on major repairs of apartment houses; more than 900 objects were included in the program of this year. Health facilities are being reconstructed; this year 164 schools of the Republic will be repaired, objects of historical and cultural heritage are being dealt with, large-scale projects of industrial construction are being implemented.
Due to its builders Kazan city has entered the final stage of preparing the city to host the Summer University Games in 2013. In order to hold the 27th World Summer Universiade it is supposed to use 65 sports facilities of which 30 facilities are objects of new construction. Almost all Universiade objects which were already constructed and those being commissioned are unique. They are technically complicated and at the same time they have to be constructed as quickly as possible. And although today the city is more like a construction site and it troubles its citizens and guests, the builders know that there will come the time for recognition and gratitude.
All projects entrusted to the builders are difficult to be counted. From the earliest times this profession has been considered to be one of the most noble, honorable and popular, and now it also became a very responsible one.
