Today there was a meeting between the executive management of the Ministry of Construction, Architecture and Housing of the Republic of Tatarstan and the delegation from Thuringia (Germany) headed by the Head of the Department for investments, technology, and foreign economic relations. Representatives of major German companies also participated in the meeting.
The meeting was held by Deputy Minister of Construction, Architecture and Housing of the Republic of Tatarstan A.S.Akhmetshin. Representatives of design institutes were invited at the meeting.

Yesterday evening a regular meeting on the implementation of new construction projects in the historic centre of Kazan was held by President of the Republic of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov. The meeting was attended by Procurator of the Republic of Tatarstan Kafil Amirov, Head of the Administration of the President of the Republic of Tatarstan Yury Kamaltynov, Mayor of Kazan Ilsur Metshin, Assistant to the President of the Republic of Tatarstan on Economic Affairs Airat Khairullin, Assistant to the President of the Republic of Tatarstan Olesya Baltusova, Minister of Construction, Architecture and Housing of the Republic of Tatarstan Irek Faizullin and representatives of the expert architectural community.

Dmitry Medvedev noted that housing is the most pressing topic for the absolute majority of the people in the Russian Federation. According to the government’s data a lot of money is required to solve this problem. More than 50% of the population are not satisfied with their housing conditions. At the same time only 25-27% of the people can now afford to buy housing including by means of mortgage loans.

Employees of the Ministry of Construction, Architecture and Housing of the Republic of Tatarstan participated in Republican environment-oriented campaign “Forest Planting Day”. The event was a part of the International Year of Forests and the preparation for the World Summer Universiade 2013.
Today a videoconference meeting on the housing construction and commissioning, the provision of the veterans of the Second World War with the housing, the implementation of the Republican target program on the resettlement of the citizens from the failing housing stock was held by Prime Minister I.Sh.Khalikov in the Government Housie of the Republic of Tatarstan. The keynote report was made by First Deputy Minister of Construction, Architecture and Housing of the Republic of Tatarstan F.M.Khanifov.

Today an extended meeting with the participation of the executives of the Customer, a foreign (CNCEC) and a Russian (R&D Institute of Carbamide and Organic Synthesis Products OJSC) contractors took place within the territory of the construction of the network producing hydrogen nitride, methanol and grained carbamide OJSC “Ammony” in Mendeleyevsk city. The meeting was attended by Deputy Minister of Construction, Architecture and Housing of the Republic of Tatarstan Yu.L.Alyashev and Deputy Minister of Industry and Trade of the Republic of Tatarstan Kh.A.Bagmanov.
Issues of the infrastructure construction of the industrial production special economic zone “Alabuga” were discussed at the meeting with contracting organizations held by Deputy Minister of Constructin, Architecture and Housing of the Republic of Tatarstan Yu.L.Alyashev in the Special Economic Zone “Alabuga”.

Today Minister of Construction, Architecture and Housing of the Republic of Tatarstan I.E.Faizullin is on a working trip in Moscow where he participated in the meeting on the formation of the working group on the modernization of housing and public utilities in the Russian Federation. The meeting was held by the Administration of the President of the Russian Federation.
Tatarstan has the experience in this field. From 2004 to 2010 the Republic implemented the program at the cost of more than 33 billion rubles including 22 billion rubles used for the modernization of public utilities.
