Ministry of construction, architecture and housing-communal services of the Republic of Tatarstan together with the Republican Trade-union Committee of Life- support system employees and the regional industrial brunch union of employers “The Communal Service Enterprises Association of the Republic of Tatarstan” is holding an annual competition-presentation “The best labor protection activity organization among enterprises of housing facilities and public utilities in the Republic of Tatarstan” for the purposes of fostering the activity of labor conditions and protection improvement at the enterprises and in organizations of housing-communal complex, as well as for the purpose of the employers’ and trade union committees attention increase towards the issues of legislative provisions regarding labor protection fulfillment, industrial brunch and public control efficiency of labor protection improvement, industrial injuries and professional diseases rate decrease.
An extended meeting themed “The results of implementing housing and utilities reform programmes and improving service quality” is in progress in Kazan.
The meeting is chaired by President of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov. attendees are Prime Minister Ildar Khalikov, State Council deputy chairman Alexander Gusev and other officials.
The amount spent to renovate the branch be comparison with 2010 doubled, I.Faizullin said. In 2012 a federal ”Integrated programme of modernising and reforming the housing and utilities branch in 2010-2012“ needs to be launched.

Rockwool Alabuga has completed the construction of one of the biggest mineral wool product plants in Europe in the Alabuga special economic zone, the zone’s press service has said. The start of production is scheduled for March 2012.
The plant’s first stone was laid in the summer of 2008 but the crisis altered the agenda, postponing the launch time to several years later. The investment and capacity estimates changed as well. The launch-time anticipated capacity is 110 htousand tonnes of products a year.
The plant is to manufacture thermal insulators from rock wool, to warm roofs, facades, floors and spans, as well as fireproof and soundproof slabs.
The plant is Rockwool’s third Russia-based production facility that is expected to create over 200 jobs.
The meeting took place in RT Government House with participation of Vice-premier – Minister of informatization and communications Nikolay Nikiforov.

The sub-progrmame Major Repair of Municipal Schools includes all schools whose age is for the moment of inclusion 30 years and more. In accordance with the programme, roofs and utilities will be repaired, and windows and doors replaced.
