The #Gorodskie federal competition of initiative citizens is aimed at creating conditions for the self-realization of talented youth, as well as a social elevator in areas related to the development of a comfortable urban environment. The competition is held as part of the national project “Housing and Urban Environment” with the support of the Ministry of Construction of Russia and the Federal Agency for Youth Affairs. The competition will be held in six nominations - the city of happiness, the city of ideas, the city of events, the city team, the hero of the city, the city of winter. To participate in the nominations will be accepted projects for landscaping and socio-cultural programming of territories, concepts for the interior design of art objects, projects for the development of landscape architecture and urbanism in cold climate cities. Students, public figures and young specialists from 18 to 35 years old in the fields of urban planning, architecture, urban studies, design, IT-technologies, tourism, sociology can take part in the competition. In 2019, in the framework of the scheduled, unscheduled inspections and inspection surveys conducted in the Aksubaevsky, Alekseevsky, Alkeevsky, Nurlatsky, Spassky and Chistopolsky districts, 496 houses with a total area of 2046.62 thousand square meters were examined. For the same period in 2018, NZHI received 974 appeals. Compared to 2018, the number of calls has practically remained at the same level, decreased by only 2%. 361 appeals were sent directly to the NZHI, 491 appeals were sent through the State Housing Inspection of the Republic of Tatarstan.
