The Rais of Tatarstan, Rustam Minnikhanov, assessed the progress of the repair and restoration work of the Memorial Temple to Fallen Soldiers, built in 1823. Restoration of a unique wooden architecture building, a two–storey house on Vakhitova Street, built in 1870, has begun in Kukmor. The office of the Komarov brothers factory, which founded the production of felt boots in the city, was located here. One of the brothers, Nikolai Vasilyevich, also lived here.

The house is an identified object of cultural significance, framed by wooden lace.

Repair and restoration work began in the building of the Kazan State Theater of the Young Spectator. 

The theater building is located at 10 Ostrovsky Street. It was built in the late 19th and early 20th centuries, where a merchant's club was opened. After the October Revolution of 1917, it was given to the House of Tatar Culture, and Maxim Gorky performed here in 1923. Since the 1940s, the Oriental Club building has housed the Theater of the Young Spectator.
